Head southeast out of Mexico City for about four hours or so and you will come upon the town of Acultzingo.

It is an impoverished, dusty little place nestled up against the rugged peaks of the Sierra Madre. Most inhabitants work the land for a living. They grow corn and avocados and raise cattle and pigs. They also rob trains. Lots of trains. So many, in fact, that Acultzingo (pronounced ah-coolt-ZEEN-go) is not only the train robbery capital of Mexico but, arguably, of the world.

Over the past year alone, there were 521 crimes committed against cargo trains in the town. And a chunk of those incidents bore no resemblance to the run-of-the-mill petty crime seen in the bigger cities of northern Mexico -- vandalizing a train car or stealing railway signs. No, these were massive, choreographed affairs that often started with a low-tech trick that dates back to the days of the Wild West -- piling rocks up high on the tracks -- and involved small armies of thieves who descended on the derailed cars in waves to cart off the loot.

When you refuse to have law and order as the basis of your country, this is what you get. With the narcotraficantes essentially in control of the whole nation, why would we expect other forms of crime not to blossom? It's probably time for the USA to use air strikes against the cartels to begin staggering the criminal mindset of Mexican society. Assassinating their president would also be a good move. And to think, this is what the open border idiots want coming into the USA.

Actually - NEITHER party wants open borders - the idea that the Democrats want TRULY OPEN BORDERS is pure and utter nonsense. However - the methods of allowing immigrants into the country are established to be quite different between the Alt-RIGHT - who separates children from their parents - and Others who never did that.

THe fact is - I doubt ANYONE posting here is a fully native American (WHo themselves immigrated Centuries ago) - and immigration has been something that is a PLUS to our country. Immigration is not limited ONLY to our border on the south - and there are LOTS of different ways to do it. In addition - our country always allowed migrant farm workers to come to our country for the growing season (WHich has been extended over the years) - and many farmers would not be able to operate if this was eliminated.

THe fact is - this is not a single one place issue - it needs far more than a stupid suggestion of a "wall" (WHy not a MOAT? ) - which is a complete waste of money - there will always be ways for people to enter ANY country illegally - we have spies in most countries. However - when the economy tanks - it is easy for people to point to immigrants as the cause of unemployment - even though many do menial jobs that americans do not rush to do. Comprehensive changeis needed - but it won't happen. Even if BORIS TRUMP gets his wall - that won't stop people from coming here - and in many places they will just Tunnel under the wall.
