FCA Wants To Block The Mahindra Roxor From US Sale Because, Well You Can See Why

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) has attempted to block Indian car maker Mahindra from importing its Roxor SUV to the US, claiming that it copies the design of the original Willys Jeep.

The Mahindra Roxor, a two-seat all-terrain vehicle with retro Jeep styling, isn’t permitted for use on US roads, and is instead classed as a Utility Task Vehicle.

Tata has NOT been good for Jaguar. Sales are still minuscule.

I think it would be more intelligent to direct our scorn at the companies that actually deserve it, rather than making a comment about an entire country based on the actions of a few.

Once again, you accuse me of saying something that I did not say.

Nowhere did I make a comment "about an entire country" and directed my scorn at the COMPANIES that actually deserve it: Indian companies. Tata and Mahindra are far more predatory than what Chinese companies dream of.

Because you attempted--unsuccessfully--to racialize what I said, that would make you a racist.

Conversely, you have been scathing in your attitude about Chinese companies, would that be "making a comment about an entire country based on the actions of a few" or just a hypocrite or both?

I don't expect you to agree with what I say because you clearly are too petty to think clearly about anything, but intentionally and willfully misrepresenting what I say makes you a coward and a bully.

May our Lord, God, and Savior take pity on you.

Namaste.

Again Matt - if YOU had intended to limit your comments to a few companies YOU could have done that by using limiting statements - but YOU did not. You said =
"I honestly think Indian companies are more repellent than Chinese companies."

It is indeed there in Black and White - anyone can read it - and know you are just back talking.

THere are Chinese and Indian AUtomotive companies that offer vehicles styles similarly to original american designs - however - neither China nor India recognize our trademarks in the manner expected in the USA. However - that does not allow them to bring these Knock-offs to the US market - where we DO accept the Trademarks. THe problem that FCA has - is that the original JEEP design was produced by contract for the Federal Government -is actually US government property and it not proprietary to FCA. WE know that is the case when Chrysler sued GM for the Grill on the Hummers - and as YOU should know - CHrysler LOST that case.

AS far as your continued belief in FAIRIES - it only is proof that your alzheimers is progressing more rapidly - adults grow out of that nonsense. However - at least belief in Childhood fantasies at least must be comforting to you!

Once again Tom you hit the Jack Daniels and choose not to see. You--like Carlosasshatter--are a bully. You both are pathetically terrible at it, but hey, game on. If accusing people of saying things they did not say is what you want...

I'd have thought you felt stupid enough getting laughed at for what you say.

Once again - Matt - you are choosing to prove your alzheimers has progressed rapidly - although I wish you all the best with it.

As I have said in the past - I do not drink - not wine either - although I will cook with wine occasionally. So your reference is simply NONSENSE that you would know if you still remembered current things. As far as being a bully - your posts here show that to be YOU - not me. I simply pointed out the obvious - that YOU did not limit your statement to a few Indian companies - you made a complete Blanket statement. THere was time when you were still more sentient - that your intelligence would not have allowed you to make that mistake. And it IS right above for all to see.

In fact - as things have gone more recently - your posts have become increasingly Bizarre - some out of bounds - and I consider that a shame - and a loss of what was a reasonably sound although Deluded individual. Again - my best wished go with you as your disease inevitably progresses - although YOU will not be able to realize it - we can.

It's all up there in black and white where anyone can read it, genius. Denying that you said it doesn't work real well in this case.

I was working a deal with Mahindra a few years back. We were negotiating the agreement (ours is 2 pages) and after about 3 weeks of back and forth it was unrecognizable. We ended up simply saying no thanks. They're extremely hard to deal with... never again.

Are you this dense? The article is about 1 Indian company: Mahindra. But rather than make a comment about Mahindra, you've made it about all Indian companies who in your mind are all "repellant". And then pretended you didn't say that, then obfuscated, and then blamed everyone else for reading what you wrote.

I'd so love a new version of the WWII Jeep -- small, elemental. Every time I see the one at NYC's MOMA, I swoon a little bit.
Of course, maybe Mahindra should do what Suzuki did with the Jimny. This is too blatant.
