Any Takers? Top Line QX80 Limited SUV To Come In At $91,095

Full-size luxury SUVs keep getting pricier, and Infiniti is getting in on the action with the introduction of the QX80 Limited. The top-of-the-line trim is new for 2019, and its pricing just released places it not only as the most expensive model Infiniti offers, but likely its most expensive ever.

Where the base QX80 Luxe starts at $65,100, the new Limited model carries a handsome price tag of $89,800. Factor in the mandatory $1,295 destination charge, as CarsDirect points out, and you’re looking at a massive $91,095.

I miss the Walrus (aka Fudgy the Whale) already.

@CCC - Fudgy the White Whale lives in my area. And it has the older more Beluga like front. Lord only knows the gas mileage it gets doing short trips around town.

There are cars priced to sell and there are cars priced to be discounted. I have driven the Q80 and it’s nice but nowhere close to other full size luxury SUV in this price range. I say $60ish is max.

waiting for the other guy to chime in with the usual, "Japanese buick", "2nd tier-premium", "true luxury is the S-class or 7 series", "made for people who can't afford true luxury" or some other comment that was super accurate circa early 1990s. What's taking him so long? LOL

from day one this was the ugliest vehicle on the road. I remember telling a sales guy at a trade show. It is still the ugliest inside and out no matter what they do to it. Scrap it and start again.

2011-2017 model was ugly, I hated it I saw them everywhere in Oklahoma City, sad story, last month I bought 2018 QX80, because I can't find any reliable full size SUV in this segment

Hertz just rented me a new QX80 in Kansas (visiting the in-laws) and I have it now. It is impossible to see out of and turning circle is lousy. I just mowed down some shrubs in a CVS parking lot because it is so challenging to maneuver it was easier to just drive over the curbs and the median.

Its XXL sized on the outside but its 'medium' sized on the inside.

Good luck to Nissan selling these at list price.
