Jay Leno Drives The Tesla Model 3 And Goes For A Ride Along In The Roadster Concept — Does Leno Approve?
Jay Leno is an all-around car freak and there's no doubting his rather encyclopedic knowledge of autos. But, there's one caveat to all that. He's done very well due to his career in front of the camera and, well, he's not like normal people.

So, his clear love for Tesla is a bit tainted in my eyes. He doesn't have to deal with the day-to-day nannies since he has about, I don't know, 300-400 cars at his disposal.

Regardless, as he does appreciate all forms of engineering, it's no wonder his YouTube channel posted a clip showing him with Teslas of the past, present and future. That would be the original Roadster, the Model 3 and the next-gen Roadster concept.

Having said that, I'll let you watch the clip and weigh in. What do YOU make of this segment?

Jay Leno takes a spin in the fastest production car ever made. With 3 motors, 10,000Nm of torque and a top speed of 250+ mph, the 2020 Tesla Roadster is more like a fighter plane. Watch Jay Leno’s Garage Thursdays at 10p ET/PT On CNBC!

I liked the old Charger that passed him.

It's TeSSla not TeSSler or TeZZla.

Lies $35K Model 3, 600 miles on a charge...oy vey

The lib designer parrots the goal of eliminating fossil fuel use. Of course, he ignores the fact that every electric need to be recharged from power being generated by fossil fuels. Typical liberal convenient amnesia.

Jay Leno is not EV savvy. He will be unpleasantly surprised to find out that Jaguar is planning a performance edition of their $69,000 electric I Pace SUV that will outaccelerate the Tesla roadster, which Musk (once again) stupidly claimed would be the fastest production car (and costing $200,000 and $250,000).
The performance version of the I Pace will do the 0 to 60 in 1.8 seconds.
When will the gullible Tesla fans ever learn about electric cars? ANY automaker can produce a car as fast as the Tesla roadster - it reqirs nothing more than checking the right boxes in the battery/motor order form. It's a big nothing in terms of engineering knowhow.

Talk is cheap, let's see if Jaguar actually produces a car with those specs (and I hope they do). Also, 1.9 seconds is the BASE performance of the Roadster. There will be faster options, including the semi-ludicrous sounding SpaceX edition.
