Tesla Descends Into Chaos As Top Execs Leave After Musk Lights Up A Reefer
The turmoil at Tesla Inc. reached a fever pitch, as the news that two senior executives are leaving Elon Musk’s electric-car maker emerged just hours after he smoked marijuana during an hours-long interview streamed live online.

Chief Accounting Officer Dave Morton gave notice Tuesday that he was resigning less than a month into the job, according to a Friday filing. Tesla’s stock plunged, then extended declines after Gabrielle Toledano, the head of human resources who’s been on a leave of absence, told Bloomberg News that she won’t rejoin the company.

The video is very long, but is worth watching. It's not what you think or as depicted by the picture. It needs a certain level of intellectual openness to comprehend and appreciate.

Musk will now feel like the whole world is closing in on him. Financial institutions have a duty to their investors and this behavior plus the exit of key executives will bring into light their legal fiduciary responsibility to always act in the best interest of their clients. Do you hang with Musk or cut and run now? I know my answer, what's yours?

So....what major auto entity will swoop in first to "extend" a financial "helping hand"?

What a Sh*tshow !

"Chief Accounting Officer Dave Morton gave notice Tuesday that he was resigning less than a month into the job, according to a Friday filing."

"Tesla’s stock plunged, then extended declines after Gabrielle Toledano, the head of human resources who’s been on a leave of absence, told Bloomberg News that she won’t rejoin the company."

I'm a CPA but it doesn't take a CPA to know that if the Chief Accounting Officer....

(i.e. the executive responsible for certifying that the financial documents filed [with SEC, banks, investors, etc.] are accurate and free of material misstatements [i.e. Tesla is not lying about anything or trying to deceive the public])

...abruptly resigns after being on the job for a month...then there just MIGHT be some issues that s/he was concerned enough about that they quit before they had to sign anything.

New hashtag...#Sh*tshow

Seeing Musk smoke weed makes the number of Model 3 deposit-holders (cited to be 420,000) just a cruel joke. Let's see some real data.

I think Pricewaterhousecoopers is Tesla's external auditor. How long before they bail out?

Let me get my lawn chair, my umbrella, and my pitcher of Aperol Spritzes ready so I can watch this drama unfold.

With the interjection of drugs into this story - it has officially gone all DeLorean on us.

Chill out guys. A hit of weed and a glass of scotch is exactly what Elon needs right now. Dude needs to unwind a bit.

It's called good judgment. He may need to take a break and chill out right now, but you don't do a podcast like that in public in his situation. The joint drag clip made the ABC evening news and the front page of the WSJ. The investment community's Tesla stake to large degree is a bet on Musk personally and when his personal judgment comes into question they will need to lighten their Tesla load to protect their reputations. If the stock slides into the $230s look for a sell off.

If Elon does not have a filter to realize what public imagery NOT to put out there, then he is unfit to be at the helm of Tesla.

Other than the evangelical hypocrites with their fake outrage, how many of you watch at least a part of the video before you cast your stone ?

Where did THAT come from? Elon is deliberately acting the fool to tank the stock, so he can take it private more affordably. That said he's going to face a ton of lawsuits...
