Take, for example, the iPhone. It singlehandedly changed the way we live. You can't say that about many products. A big part of the iPhone's goodness is the way it takes pictures.

Comparing an Apple iPhone's pictures to that of an Android BEFORE was laughable. Well, the Cupertino-based technology company has one upped itself in a big way, again.

With the debut of the all-new iPhone XS, it has raised the benchmark. We know this because Agent 001 has taken delivery of the XS. And, guess what he's been doing...

As is AutoSpies tradition, he's been taking pictures testing out the iPhone XS' camera. And we think these shots are quite impressive. Here's the catch: None of the images have been edited. Just pulled straight from the phone.

I work for a wireless carrier and was out at stores yesterday for the launch. I get to sample all of the new devices. Putting a Samsung Note 9 up against the iPhone Xs Max, it was not even close. The pictures are better on the Note 9, and the 9 has a better (brighter and clearer) OLED display.

I would add, the Samsung’s low light capabilities in dark situations is incredible. If I could post images here, you would see what I am talking about.

say what you will but apple cameras are not better than the best android cams and add weird color to the photos. and if you are such a fanboy that you will over pay for what is essentially an older android phone with a fruit on it then at least have the sense not to brag about it.

I'm a long term Apple/Hackintosh die hard but in a moment of weakness I bought a Google Pixel 2 (mistake) which DOES have the best camera in the biz -when it actually works and the app doesn't repeatedly crash. A close second is the Note 9 dual camera but I like shit that works and am going back to a Iphone as my Ipad and Mac Air don't play nice with Android...

I have used the Pixel 2, Samsung Galaxy S9+ ,and the Note 9. The Samsung’s are superior to the Pixel.

Rotary phones are superior to the Pixel. Worst phone I have ever owned with non stop problems since new and a total lemon but it does take killer pics when the phone app actually works and doesn't crash...
