Best Look Yet At The New BMW X7 Interior - Are You Sold So Far?
Since we’ve mentioned the 8 Series, it’s fairly easy to notice the flagship SUV will adopt a dashboard design quite similar to what we’ve seen already in the 6 Series Coupe replacement, which isn’t really all that surprising. Our spies were also able to photograph the rear center console reserved to passengers sitting on the second row where there seems to be ample legroom. The air vents are surprisingly mundane for what will be BMW’s most expensive SUV, but at least there are controls for the climate settings, along with a power outlet, a pair of USB ports, and two cup holders.

I will wait for the new Cadillac Escalade coming out - with the new V-8 and a new independent rear suspension.

Having seen it in person, it's looks to be best in class.

The interior actually looks really good, until the new GLS comes out. The exterior looks dull as a door nail, though.

Looks derivative of existing BMW interiors, I was hoping they would take the opportunity to be revolutionary. One major concern would be AC noise when the fan is on a higher setting. Trying to shove a lot of air out of those tiny center vents will likely create a lot of noise. Second, I just don’t like the iPad sticking out of the dash look.

Looks good, especially for what it is. An equivalent-level sedan (or even a coupe) will always be more luxurious and refined in all areas than an SUV, including the interior.

I actually think the air vents are big step up. It's one of the main complaints I have with BMW products, even the extremely well-executed 7-Series. The air vents are just typical plastic vents and are very boring, especially compared to what you're seeing in Mercedes products nowadays.

But where are the metal buttons? So far, only the 7-Series has metal buttons. Even the 8-Series has plastic buttons on the steering wheel and door. What gives, BMW?
