Mercedes SL600 "Diamond" at SEMA

Here is something that the other sites are not reporting on from SEMA, a sparkling SL600 that will attract the Paris Hilton likes to just crash it a block away. This car is definitely a head turner especially when the sun rays start blinding you. It is a nice idea, but I don't believe those are actually some kind of diamonds or crystals, but maybe a special paint.

If it were Diamond then that car wouldn't last a day parked somewhere, but still it looks amazing.

It could be stones but not Diamond stones. Perhaps Rhinestone imbedded into the body panels. Many man hours to accomplish but for SEMA, anything is worth the extra time and effort to WOW your audience. But yes, it could very well be glitter paint but it sure looks like it has individual stones rather than a portrait of diamonds.
