SPIED: NEW Pics Of The Next-gen Porsche 911 GT3 Shows Some INTERESTING Changes...
In recent months we've really gotten to see the all-new Porsche 911 (992). That's because Porsche hasn't exactly done a great job at keeping it covert.

Probably on purpose, if we're honest.

As I am writing this quick blurb now, I am racking my brain. That's because I am trying to recall if we've even seen pictures of the 992 GT3. I am pretty sure it hasn't been spotted before but, honestly, it doesn't really matter at this point.

That's because the latest shots of the next-gen 911 GT3 are killer. Revealing an updated look, you can spot a slew of changes that will make themselves known on the upcoming GT3. That will include an all-new front clip, potential venting on the front hood a la the 996 and 997 GT2 models, lightweight center lock wheels, a larger big brake kit, a lower OEM stance, a single sweeping integrated LED taillight and the main event, the much larger and peculiar looking rear wing.

If I were a betting man I'd say that is a prototype piece. On another note, does anyone want to hazard a guess how much more power it will gain? 525 horsepower? 550 horsepower? Anyone? Bueller?

To get a better look at the upcoming GT3, see the rest of the pics via the link after the jump.

I'll wait until all the camo cladding comes off before I judge, but from what I've seen so far, I prefer the 991.2 styling a lot more.

For those who think all 911s look the same: Some folks can tell the difference between a Telecaster and a Stratocaster. Others aren't familiar with these names, and it's all the same to them. Ditto with 911s.

Of course, some prefer a Rickenbacker...

It is a mishmash of stuff. Duck tail spoiler plus a big GT3RS wing. Vent on the hood, but no vent on the sides to feed the more powerful GT3/RS engine. Hard to know if it is a Mule or just there to test out a new center lock wheel design.

Yes, as it’s an RS, forget any hope of doing any old-fashioned three-pedal foot and hand work in the stripped and caged interior. There’s always the GT3 Touring for that, or a GT3 without the no-cost PDK option. There is a man in America who had the previous GT3 RS converted to a manual by using a 911R six-speeder, but that’s something that’s unlikely to ever happen again – unless you know any different. Quite simply, the PDK is faster; finger-flipped paddles and seven gears mean that not a lot, short of a hypercar or GT2 RS, will have the capacity to come close on track. The PDK has, of course, been honed for the new GT3 RS, featuring different bearings inside, while the rear axle ratio differs to compensate for the larger (21-inch) rear wheel and tyre package the RS brings over the standard GT3.
