Well it must be to compete with the Escalade. I also think the MKZ is quite nice, while the MKX is a disaster.

I agree- the Zephyr/MKZ may be cheap on the inside, but it has a handsome, disctinctive look that can't be ignored by prospective TL/ES350 buyers.

MKX is weird.

The Navigator is possibly the ugliest SUV they've ever produced. The Escalade is at least kind of understated and stylish- this is just horrendous.

Holy Chrome Batman! To the Aspen / Navigator late-comers, chrome is so 2002!

Why the non-sensical alphanumeric names? A curious trend.

Actually no.
Lincoln decided at the last second to drop the entire "Mark" thing. It is offically the "EmmmKaaayyZeee" not the Mark Z

Actually, if they planned on continuing the Mark series of names they would be up to Mark IX, since the series had been traditionally sequentially numbered.

I agree with mstngpny07. They are just meaningless letters. Maybe they'll grow on me.

the navigator looks like a warmed-over 70s blazer or something. too much chrome, too fussy.
