If he really wants to get his money's worth out of an expensive fast car - he should either rent a race course - or build one on his property. The fact is - speeding at that rate near a housing development is dangerous to citizens as well as him and that is why we have laws that make it illegal to do so. ANd if he killed someone - we all would have to pay for his upkeep in Prison as well.

Frankly - I feel he should be locked up for a while for doing it.

@Car4life1 TomM likes to feel morally superior by browbeating and bullying others. TomM is very slow on the uptake.

I know, the nerve of him. Kyle Busch was caught driving 128mph in a 45mph zone in his Lexus LFA

Sold the only Porsche I ever owned because I found myself driving faster and faster on public roads and told myself you are heading for real trouble. While I love these high performance cars you cannot get the feeling that you and not the car is in control unless you push it and yourself to speeds well above the speed limits. Some of the best cars I ever owned or drove were far less expensive but felt alive in your hands going 45 miles an hour on your way to the grocery store to buy a loaf of bread. Its one of the reasons why Miatas and Honda Type R's are so popular...you can enjoy them at any speed.

I use the cruise control incessantly in my Shelby because you can easily be well over the speed limit because it gains speed so effortlessly. Miatas are popular?? Then why are their sales so dead?

Over 1,000,000 Miatas have been sold and has an enthusiastic following. More Miatas have been sold than Porsche 911's which have been on the market 26 years longer.Sure they are cheaper but certainly popular by any measure.
