VIDEO: Fire Tragedy In SoCal Like A Horrifying Movie Scene

It's been quite a last 48 hours in Southern California. It's fire season and unfortunately an incredible one is happening right now in Thousand Oaks and Malibu areas.

So many beautiful areas are being effected and people are losing homes as we speak. And it looks like San Diego is going to get these conditions Sun-Tues as per the National Weather Service.

For our readers in Ca., stay safe and listen to the authorities. NOTHING, is worth your life...The video here is unimaginable and looks like a movie scene.

Not to worry. Family was able to get out. So far their home is intact--we think.

I know a couple families in Ventura on mandatory evacuation yesterday. Keeping an eye on their status and keep hoping.

Here in Nor Cal, a town of 27000 people Paradise got virtually wiped out within a day with many lives lost. Terrible tragedies and they happen too often now.

Locally, the county fire department and forestry service has had massive cuts to their wildfire preventions funds which decimate preventative measures that mitigate the spread of fires. People in California are largely oblivious to how much money has been sucked away from fire suppression efforts. It's easier to blame this mismanagement of fiscal resources on the nebulous global warming mindscrew.

I volunteer locally. I also live in a place where a sudden escalation of a fire could easily happen. I can do my best to be ready, but this truly is a matter of the state ignoring public safety and letting all Californians down.

Can’t get past this scene of the two firefighters trying to save that beauty. I know lives have been lost and that’s horrendous but bear with me to comment since this is a car blog.
