#LAAutoShow: LEAKED! The All-new Jeep Gladiator Is Fully EXPOSED Before Its LA Debut
We're just about two weeks away from the kick off of the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show (LAAS), which means it's make or break time. Well, not quite.

With the Thanksgiving holiday just next week, it proves a bit difficult if you're an automaker trying to get the news out with one of your all-new vehicles.

Some automakers keep it close to the vest. Others decide to get ahead of the holiday. And others, well, their details get leaked. Some purposefully, some not.

In the leaked camp for the LA Auto Show is the all-new Jeep Wrangler-based Gladiator. The people have been wanting a Wrangler-based pick-up truck for quite some time now and we're finally getting a production variant.

Nope, it's not a kit. Nope, it's not an aftermarket job. It's the real deal from Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA).

Check out the latest images and information surrounding the Gladiator that's found its way online so far. We'll update you with the official details from FCA once it's made live.

Hopefully, for all of the consumer interest there will be just as many buyers. Honestly, I'd rather Jeep spent this time developing a large SUV, re-designing the Grand Cherokee, helping Dodge add needed midsize/large SUV's & small/midsize CUV's.

A midsize truck is cool, but Jeep should be leveraging their certain cache to provide a fairly capable pickup/CUV that looks comfortable everywhere you see Honda Ridgelines/CRVs & Buick Envision.

Jeep is horribly under-utilized. FCA should've stuck with the initial Chrysler plan:

Chrysler - upscale, entry-level luxury sedans & CUV's.
Dodge - SUV/CUVs, sporty sedans/coupes.
Ram - trucks, commercial units
Jeep - SUV/CUV's, specialty vehicles occasionally.
SRT - amp-up performance for any vehicles from the above

The cargo box is extremely shallow.

Maybe - but this is not a vehicle that will be used as a truck much - it is likely that most people who buy it will want one just for the LOOK (Think original mustang).

Even though Jeep has a horrible reputation for lack of reliability - they will not be able to keep up.

This next year is going to be interesting - with the New Chevy Blazer - the Ford Bronco - and this truck . All three have the "bling" to possibly catch on beyond normal - and it will be interesting to see which do

I don't get offering only a crew cab configuration for this small a vehicle. Climbing in through those rear doors looks awkward for anyone over 12 or not a canine. Too bad they don't offer a club cab or regular cab with a longer bed.

They did it exactly as they should have. This will sell like mad.

Yup. Bet there will be more than a few parked in the same garage as a Tesla. "Hey look at me!".

Looks like a home run. Did Jeep offer a pickup many years ago?

This will sell OK for one Big reason... Competition in mid size truck mkt..!!

Wrangled has no competition so sells very well. No suck luck for this Gladiator!

Plus... Have u ever ridden in the back seat of Wrangler... Its aweful n ingress egress is terrible..

Compare that to new Ford Ranger n Jeep has a problem... Plus Toyota GM n Nissan mid size trucks will be stiff competition.

Early adopters will buy em at list price then watch the deep discounts pile on.
