Tesla Takes Charge Of Model 3 Delivery Logisitcs By Buying Trucking Companies
Elon Musk is apparently charting his way out of what he’s referred to as “delivery logistics hell” by making acquisitions and lining up more contracts with car haulers.

The Tesla Inc. CEO tweeted Thursday that Model 3s ordered in the U.S. by the end of the month will be delivered by year-end. He wrote that using trucks instead of rail shaves more than a month off the time it takes to get cars to the East Coast.

Tesla cars delivered without any covers making them vulnerable to all manner of road damage.

The irony of it all. "Clean" EV vehicles delivered by fleets of diesels.

...BECAUSE OTHER MANUFACTURERS ARE LAZY.

Agreed :/ Tesla needs to start using the Semi for deliveries as soon as possible.

Now almost every day I see one of these filled with Teslas to delivery.

Side note that I can't believe the difference between Nevada and California with the number of Teslas. Think I saw 5 or 6 Teslas over 3 whole days in Nevada. Meanwhile, there are 6 on one street in my neighborhood right now. At least there was no competition for charging and I got VIP parking every place I went.

If they were delivered by EV trucks I'm positive you'd find some other inane thing to whine about.

Diesel trucks are on a short lease. Tesla Semis will replace them all soon.

EVisNow You know absolutely NOTHING about trucks and how they are used, but your arrogance has never prevented you from acting like you're in the know.

...and yet Tesla is currently making the same types of trucks while you continue to spend the day here yammering away like a petulant child.

EVs are low emissions are exaggerated anyway.
The electricity to run them comes from a powerplant. Due to resistance a certain percentage is lost on the way to the charging station. So the pollution is now just somewhere. Just not from your car.

Do to efficiencies of mass production of energy, even 100% coal charging is less worse than using an ICE car. Also, right now CA is a shitshow with pollution due to the fires... like China/India bad. Every little bit helps.
