Nissan Sentra SE-R to debut at Los Angeles Auto Show

Nissan North America, Inc. announced that it will introduce two exciting new performance vehicles at the Los Angeles Auto Show, November 29th, at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

All-new for 2007, the Nissan Sentra will once again have SE-R high performance models; both SE-R and SE-R Spec V. As a pioneer model in the field of sport compact cars, the 2007 Nissan Sentra SE-R offers more power, performance and technology to this highly acclaimed model. The SE-R Spec V model will be powered by a specifically designed high-output version of Nissan’s 2.5-liter DOHC 4-cylinder engine. Additional information on the SE-R with be announced at the LA Auto Show on November 29th.

Nissan will also showcase another uniquely styled, exhilarating performance-oriented vehicle, which marks Nissan’s entry into a previously untapped customer segment. Details on the second world debut vehicle are being withheld until Nissan’s press conference on November 29 at 10:00AM PST.

The Sentra has never been nice anyways so it can't go down a hill when it has always been at the bottom of the hill. Nissan's design philosophy has gone down the drain. First signs of it was the Nissan Quest when it first came out. The van is the most hideous van ever made. Even the Chrysler minivan's are better looking but the Toyota's and Honda's van's are the best looking and best out of all it's competition.

Anyways, this Sentra is a big disappointment. Makes you wonder how the next Z will really look like or Morano

Whatttttt ????

Murano is sculptur in motion as by the company,and i agree with them.It's one the best designed SUV out there today.And Mighty successful all over.

Z too is great,often compared with cars double it's price,like Porsche Cayman,BMW M3..etc and still manage good positions/ranks.

I think Sentra don't and will never control them like what u said.

I agree with ya 100%. Don't forget FX's success also. The designers were actually flown to exotic museums around the world to create the stunningly beautiful FX. Sentra on the otherhand is a small compact car that'll do well in Europe, Mexico, China and Mozambique etc..

The FX is gorgeous. Anyone who doesn't think so needs eyes.

Too bad I can't say the same about Lexus... that's what they need- they need to take risks. If the LS460 was less blah and more fresh, I would respect it and consider it for the future.

Infiniti has a clear brand identity in its styling. Lexus seems to be lost, however.

I like the Murano and Z designs, however I see this car as a misstep for Nissan. The look is to chunky, clunky and chiseled for such a small car. I think of how good-looking the original Sentra SE-R was, kinda like a nuveau-510. This look follows with most modern designs - it looks like an appliance.

And I'm a Nissan guy! Owned many through the years and own one now.
