We already have LOTS of ways to introduce new fragrances into rooms, buildings, even outhouses - and have had for decades. I do not see the need for another

The new car smell is nothing more than chemical soup. The GF's X3 is so bad that I want to barf when you open the car door even though it is now 6 months old. I'd rather be breathing the August air in Shanghai than to smell her car's glues, solvents and VOCs.

I've been thinking of burning off some Century Sam cigars inside to kill off that retched smell with another lesser retched one...

Before I get flamed I WAS a vegetarian for over 6 years and did nothing but raw fruits and veggies to be really purist and it almost killed me. Not a healthy lifestyle -we need everything (meat included) in moderation.

It does make you wonder (ok, it makes me wonder) about the Chinese's sensitivity to smell as a result of pollution. Is there a cause and effect? Not sure but seems odd that the new-car smell would be such a problem.
