#LAAutoShow: LEAKED! First OFFICIAL Pictures Of The Next-gen Porsche 911 992 Make Their Way ONLINE
In the first leak before the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show (LAAS), the all-new Porsche 911 has made its way online.

Given how many spy photographs of the 911 have been snapped in the past few months, featuring vehicles that were virtually undisguised, there shouldn't be too many surprises here. For example, we've already seen the 992 911 in this particular shade of blue.

According to reports, these several low-res images were posted to an online forum. From there, the shots have started making their way to online publications.

Not sure about you, Spies, but I am thinking that 992 looks pretty hot in that dark silver.

Hopefully you can delete some if not all of the script on the rear end. As well the wheels are so big on this 911 they make the disc's look tiny like on an economy car.

Discs don't look small to me...

You can definitely delete the script. You can do so on current-gen cars.

@Agent00R - Click the link and check out the side profile shot of the blue car again. There is lots of room between the rotor and the rim. More than I have seen other sports/super cars.A 911 does not need 20" or 21" rims. I fact no car does. 35, 30 and 25 section rubber can't lead to a good ride.

One of the most impressive attributes of the 991 Porsches is how the suspension is tuned to provide a both a well-damped ride (for a sports car) and amazing handling. My current 991.2 has 20" wheels and I often drive on NJ roads in the sport plus mode. Does a car need 20" wheels? Probably not, but if the car delivers a great ride and great handling, why not get the benefit of the great looks that 20" wheels give by filling out the wheel-well and the advantage of a wider contact patch with the road.

Most mfr are increasing wheel size not because of look/style but because discs are getting larger.

Couldn't agree more, @pcar4evr. Same experience as a fellow Jerseyan.

I love the 911 but can’t help but think of Jeremy Clarkson’s comparison of it to a squashed beetle every time I see one

So radically different and improved! I barely recognize it.

So greatly changed that it is a good thing that they put their name on it - or Matt would have never recognized what it was.

I would have guessed Super Beetle.

Letting the days go by, let the water hold me down
Letting the days go by, water flowing underground
Into the blue again after the money's gone
Once in a lifetime, water flowing underground
Same as it ever was, same as it ever was

I concur.

It's pretty tough to outdo how well executed the 991.1 was.

The 997.1 was quite good too.

The few changes I do see on it (lines on the hood for example), I don't like. So I'm glad there aren't more of them. To their credit they haven't been tearing the design apart by misaligning every panel by 3 inches and adding random bulges everywhere like everyone else.

I like the rear fender lines... starting to look more like the parent of the Cayman.
