2020 Ford Explorer To Debut Early Next Month

Ford Motor Co. plans to reveal the next-generation Ford Explorer crossover on Jan. 9 at an off-site event the week before the Detroit auto show.

The next-generation Explorer was designed and engineered on a new rear-wheel-drive platform shared by its luxury counterpart, the Lincoln Aviator. And like the Aviator, Ford is expected to offer a plug-in hybrid version of the Explorer.

The automaker will use Ford Field, home of the NFL's Detroit Lions and owned by the Ford family, to introduce the 2020 Explorer.

90% of the police vehicles in my area are Explorers. They don't do high speed pursuits in these, they have planes to find you and point you out.

Here they do high speed pursuits in Explorers and Chargers and those Explorers fly.
