Although Lotus isn't exactly front and center here in the States, that doesn't mean the company is dead, folks. In fact, its marketing department wanted to remind of that during the holiday season.

While many businesses approach a holiday greeting differently, Lotus decided to stay in its lane.

That's why the British sports car manufacturer decided to produce and ship a video dubbed "Merry Driftmas!" Featuring a yellow Evora Sport 410, Lotus took some creative license from those Gymkhana videos and packaged it in a Lotus-friendly way.

Check out the video below to see what we mean.

Merry Christmas, Spies!

Considering how the marque is usually on life support, I have a feeling it's going to be a bit of time...if ever.

@Agent00R- True. But they shoot themselves in the foot making something that looks like the Evora vs doing a new Esprit instead. Poor leadership. They should have stuck with the Barr plan and continued on and made the gaggle of V6 and V8 sports cars, coupes and the sedan.

Nice car but it fits me like a two sizes too small pair of shoes.

Really?

I am 6'8, 300 lbs and I fit in it. Snug, yes, but so is any sports car when you're that big.

Lotuses are fun and all but only worth half the price of admission. Build quality can be rather shoddy. Lotus fanatics look the other way. I've never been into Lotuses because they just aren't visceral enough. The "add lightness" routine is pure #BS. A Lotus is essentially a Toyota MR2 for triple the price.
