Yikes! Dealers Have Over A 100 Day Supply Of New Wranglers

Judging by record sales since production began a year ago, Jeep fans are lapping up the redesigned Wrangler.

Which is good — because Jeep dealers are swimming in them.

Supplies of unsold Wranglers at U.S. dealerships or on their way there have ballooned to well more than 100 days in each of the past three months, including a 156-day supply at the beginning of November and 135 days at the start of this month, while the total number of Wranglers in FCA US' field stock rose to 85,979 at the start of this month, from 69,579 at the beginning of October.

Based on poor on road driving dynamics... Jeep wobble and poor quality frame welds... No wonder.
I'd wait for Ford Bronco... Going to be much better!!!

I guess customers heard about the structural issues.

Buy a 4-Runner instead.

Probably right. I have a feeling many faux outdoor suburban warriors are thinking, "Been there, done that, now moving on to something of better quality and comfort."

Not many people see the sense or value of purchasing a $45K to $50K +tax Wrangler to have the fillings in their teeth rattled out.

I've always been surprised that that Wrangler sells so well actually.

@MD It is a bit shocking for such a crude vehicle. This model has done between 191,000- 202,000 in the last two years to likely a new high of 236,000 units in 2018. A Highlander is night and day compared to the 4Runner in terms of smoothness on the road. I can't imagine what the ride of a Wrangler is like.

The highlander and 4runner are also totally devoid of style, panache, and personality. The 4runner isn't THAT refined and a Wrangler isn't THAT unrefined. I've been in all three.
