LEAKED: All New 2020 Land Rover Defender Bound For The US Shores
Land Rover today made official the announcement of an all-new Defender model and also confirmed that it will be available for sale in North America, ending years of speculation about the future of the beloved model. "albeit in a modern context" will be what tanks this design. It isn't a hard brief to recreate a classic. Mercedes just did it with the G-Wagon. FCA with the Challenger. Chevy with the Camaro. What it looks like they did is an update of the LR4 with some goofy new lights. Time will tell how close or off the mark it is.

It's important to get it right for the dozens of buyers to fondly remember the original.

The sad part is this is the 4-door Defender 110 replacement. Not the 90 3-door replacement. There is very little room behind the rear seats from what can be seen, unlike in a 110. I wonder if they will make a 130 version pickup with 4-doors again.
