BMW Designer Albrecht Graf Goertz Passes Away
Designer of the legendary BMW 507, Albercht Graf Goertz, passed away this past Friday at the age of 92. The BMW 507 designed by Goertz is not only considered a BMW icon but one of the most beautiful two-seater car in motor history. Goertz then went onto create the BMW 503 for BMW leading to another success. Albrecht Graf Goertz was born on 12 January 1914 in Brunkensen near Hanover, the second son of an old-established German aristocratic family.

RIP. did he have any influence on the styling of the z8 or did the new designers at bmw just copy the 507?
