NOW That The 2020 Toyota Supra Has Been LEAKED, Is This 1994 Supra WORTH Upwards Of Six Figures?
Leading up to the launch of the all-new Acura NSX, I remember forecasting that the first-gen NSX would see a bump in its values. It was pretty crazy to see it play out.

What was once an affordable, and rare, Japanese sports car became unattainable to the masses in a short period of time.

While the fourth generation Toyota Supra has been the object of affection for many since the 1990s, it seems it may be positioned for an explosion in its value. This time it's not due to the Fast And Furious franchise either. You can thank the 2020 Supra for that.

Take, for example, this particular car that's on Bring A Trailer. It's a vehicle with about 7,000 miles on the odometer and at the time of this writing has a bid on it for $90,000. According to the listing the numbers all match and it has no stories. It's so original the tires allegedly have a 1994 date code on them — extremely dangerous but this is something crazy collectors look for.

All that said, I've got to ask: Is this 1994 Toyota Supra WORTH upwards of six figures?

The selling dealer acquired the Supra 20 months ago and has changed the oil. Since then, the car has been stored in a climate controlled facility as part of the selling dealer’s private collection. This A80 Supra is now offered in Hickory, North Carolina with the owner’s manual, a clean Carfax, and a clean Pennsylvania title...

The 1994 Supra was eviscerated for being a flabby overweight vehicle that compromised its performance. It's hardly an icon in the real world.

While not to me but the original was an engine tuner's dream capable of 1,000hp. Car was way over engineered in its day.

This car was sold on bring a trailer for $121k USD. Plus a $6K buyers fee. Good grief.

I don't understand the attraction. It simply wasn't that good of a car. It's definitely not attractive looking.
