UK Study Reveals What You Have Probably Known All Along - German Car Owners Are The Most Dangerous On the Road

Yeah it's probably me forming a stereotype, but I don't know how many times I have been approaching an exit on the freeway and some feckless German car driving idiot will zoom forward, cut off traffic and then dart off on the exit when they so easily could have pulled in behind and exited smoothly.

I live in an area that is heavily populated with douchebags. 3/4 series seems to be their classic vehicle of choice, although a lot are now gravitating towards the c class.

Just wait the douche bags are now buying Tesla.

I'm not one to pass up a good stereotype or not perpetuate one but BMW drivers are the worst by far. When I had my M3's and M5's I was the biggest douche on the road -driving insanely fast (but not dangerously though). This is why I don't want fast sports cars anymore -they bring out the worst in me and I'm getting too old for this shit anyways. Now I prefer cargo space AND comfort over torque. Sad!

That is hilarious but so true. You get a hot rod and it unleashes the little devil in you. Takes a lot to keep that little devil reined in :). I still like the hot rods though. My douche driving peeve is people that drive 40mph no matter where they are, in a heavily populated urban area with kids running out on the streets, in parking lots and in the left lane of the freeways. I have a friend that drives like this, he is either going to run over a kid one day or he is going to get run off the freeway. He will constantly gripe about people coming up on him in the left lane, I will say ... stay to the right except to pass, he ignores me and says the right lane is too busy with on/off ramp traffic.

@qwerty...I have found that the ones who drive the most stupidly are the ones with the lease specials. People with M cars/AMG etc drive fast, but in a relatively responsible manner. It is the true douches in the 330i/C300s that do stupid things like cutting people off, weaving around a highway without signaling etc.

True that! It's always older Bimmer sleds doing the stupid shit I find regardless if it is South Florida or Ontario or parts in between for that matter -the moronic logic is universal. The reason you don't see these dolts driving M cars is because of the acquisition cost and extreme maintenance costs once past warranty as they are endless money pits.

When I had my Jags XJS, XJR and VDP I Was the slowest driver on the road content just to cruise around. Funny how different brands can influence ones driving habits and probably a good thing I never got me a sport bike or I'd likely be dead or FUBAR.

All this tells me is that the UK has some bad drivers.

The UK has had massive immigration and wherever that happens there are always different "rules" for driving. Unless and until assimilation happens, you have different "styles" of driving. Pure and simple.
