Faster Than Claimed? Watch This Audi RS3 Rip 0-60 In Under 4 Seconds

Cars equipped with five-cylinder engines are few and far between in today’s automotive industry, and the Audi RS3 Sportback / Sedan is without a shadow of a doubt one of the most exciting you can buy. Shown here in four-door guise, the black pocket rocket from Ingolstadt belongs to the folks over at YouTube channel Automann-TV and they decided to conduct an acceleration test to see what the compact sedan is all about.

Since it’s the beginning of the year and traffic on the Autobahn is pretty light these days, they took the RS3 Sedan on one of the remaining unrestricted sections of the famous German highway. Despite being fitted with winter tires, it proved to be way quicker than advertised in the sprint from 0 to 62 mph (100 kph).

You gotta admit that is darn quick for a small four door. I think the bespoke 5cyl motor probably does not help with the price but it has the ego boosting factor over a 4cyl with similar power, thus the ability to ask for more to get it out the door. I still don't like Audi much because the mount the engines in front of the front axle. That is just not right for any car that has the aspirations Audi has for these RS model hot rods.

Someone in my area has a white A3 sedan. I always think it looks like an A4 that got left in the dryer. Same with the Q3 that lives next door.
