TRUCK WARS! The Pick-up Truck Battle Is Set To Get Even MORE Fierce In 2019 — Who Takes The
2019 is now here and there's one thing that is certain: Sport-utility vehicle and truck sales are only expected to grow. The sedan is going to have a tough year.

No more further proof is needed as auto makers scale back, and even kill, their four-door sedan nameplates.

If you follow the Detroit Three (Ford, General Motors and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA)) then you know that pick-up trucks are their core business. This is where a significant amount of volume is moved and where thick profit margins reside.

Simply put, this is the most hotly contested segment right now and table stakes are up for grabs.

Although Ford is far away and ahead holding the first place spot, it appears that the Chevrolet Silverado and RAM 1500 are duking it out. Having said that, as we enter an all-new year, we've got to ask: WHICH pick up truck do YOU believe will take 2019's sales race?

I don't think sales would have been strong due to a screen alone. The RAM 1500 looks the best and all things being equal (power, payload, features, interior), that appeals to consumers who need a new full size truck.

The Ram is the handsome one. The GM twins are the ugly ones. The F150 is suddenly very dated, but I'd take a Raptor in a blink.

Truck buyers are very brand loyal, I would say Ford will take the W even when they may not have all the best models. However the Raptor is the undisputed king of the truck world right now IMHO.
