I could see the ZR-1 model phased out. The top dog will be a C8 variant. If the race team is going to use the C8 than there no longer needs to be a link to the racing program with the C7 model. Viper ACR's have a 6 figure price tag and still have big money price tags on them at the dealers that have them. A 775hp track car should be $100k+.

It is a sophisticated, well engineered beast. It is well worth $100 K+. There are other models of the Corvette available for much less that are still a blast to drive.
