California Rules That Male Drivers Can No Longer Be Charged More For Insurance

The California Department of Insurance has come up with new rules, under which the auto insurers are now prohibited from charging drivers based on their gender.

The new rules will bring insurance prices in line with the Proposition 103 that bans unfair and discriminatory pricing and mandates rates to be based primarily on the person’s driving record and experience, leaving out personal characteristics and especially their gender, as women usually got slapped with premiums over males.

Well since it is the state with (more than likely) more gender flux than any other..this makes sense.

True especially with Gender Fluid, you can be the gender you want to be on which forms you want.

No, it is not. You have made an incorrect statement, and are therefore mistaken.

That is also an incorrect statement.

I am noting that what you said can upset people and be considered rude. Albeit, not in an earth-shattering way.

It is of course entirely up to you what to say, and if you do not care about making people unhappy, then that is your right.

How long before female rates raised to male level in name of equality?

My thoughts exactly. Females are hit hardest by this.

So male drivers have been cash raped for decades by the insurance industry and now that discriminatory practice has been kicked to the curb in California, but in your bee-bee-in-a-boxcar brain of yours, you make it out to be "those poor women". What a clusterfcuque of #SJW BS!

The insurance companies are probably laughing all the way to the bank, then, since I don't suppose the new law prohibits them from simply increasing the female rates to match the male rates? Does the law prohibit health insurance and life insurance from "gender discrimination" as well?

That's exactly what they'll do. Raise the female rate to the male rate. Anyone who thinks they'll go the other direction or meet in the middle somehow is delusional.
