[UPDATE!] #NAIAS: LEAKED! The All-new Toyota Supra Is Accidentally REVEALED And Some Are Saying It Looks GLORIOUS. Are They Right? Or, Brain Dead?
Someone at Toyota Mexico very well may be out of a job tonight. Seriously.

That's because a video has been posted to Twitter via Toyota Mexico and guess what the star is? It's the all-new, Toyota Supra that was set for a reveal at the start of the 2019 Detroit Auto Show.

And while there's been a ton of leaked pictures of the all-new Supra, thereby ruining the surprise, we happen to know these automakers quite well. They NEVER want the car to reveal before its intended time.

Down to the minute.

If you've been waiting for this moment, well Spies, here you go! See the clip below while it's still posted.

Just to cover our butts we've also included screen grabs from the video clip below.

[UPDATE! The video has been removed.]

[UPDATE #2! Carscoops extracted the video from Twitter and uploaded it on their own channel. See the video, again, below!]

Front end is cool but overall not the prettiest. I bet it's going to be an amazing drive.

Wow, that's risky for Toyota. Going to be a polarizing design, like it.

I’m intrigued...who knew Toyotas would look better than their premium cousins Lexus...interesting

Reminds me of Z4 coupe... similarly it looks like the butt is chopped. Doesn't look that great, but at least saved some weight.

It looks like something that was designed a generation or two of cars ago. Which makes sense because that's how long it's been "coming". I bet this thing is going to be a big fat flop at the asking price.

The only thing I'm sure of at the moment is that it will outsell the Z4 out of the box. That's not saying much, I know, but when they go head to head if one of the two cars is considered better though different the other manufacturer is going to have a real bad day at headquarters and in the market.

Neither will sell much. That said, I'm guessing Toyota might offer different tuning, with output similar to that of next M3/4.

And the buyers will be getting that Toyota reliability :). Right?

Nice! Will likely sell a ton, at the right price...

But that's the problem. It will likely be $30K higher than the right price.

I like it looks like nothing else. Not a great design, but will wait to see up close.

At $30K with styling like that it would be a hard sell. At $60K, there are simply better choices.

This will be challenging for Toyota.

A fail front to back. Not a Toyota product at all. Cobbled together JV's with other makers is a questionable practice at best, for a halo car, it is unthinkable. This will not sell anywhere near the numbers Toyota is hoping for.

I bet the aftermarket exhaust system is ready for purchase. This car is a P.O.S.!!!

pretty sure it'll sell well enough since they're rumors of 2 initial engine options, and a true performance version later on, giving it a broad price range. assuming from the low 30s up to 70-80k for the performance trim when released.

2.0L turbo and a 3.0L twin turbo - both from BMW - is what's expected initially

I'm 50/50 about it. If we look at the progression of the supra, the next generation almost always has a different design language. I like the long hood, I just wish they made the car a but longer in the back, but engineers probably did it for a reason so I'll save that for the driving impression. Most of us are fans of the last gen supra, so we are comparing it naturally to this model. It looks like Toyota went with classic Japanese design language. It almost looks like a retro datsun 240. Although this is not a fair comparison, the collaboration with AMG and Aston Martin turned out well, so maybe we keep an open mind until we see it in person and drive it. Sometimes Japanese cars look much better in person than photos, let's see..

Hmm, I'm conflicted at the moment. I don't hate it, but I need to see it in person to know if I like it.

I actually kind of like it.

I HATE the all-new Z4 and would pick this over that. But, that's not saying much.

Its rear end is pretty awkward from the angles I've seen so far...

At $49.9 the new Supra is priced aggressively especially if the 6 comes in at 382 HP. Those HP figures are currently higher than a 718 Cayman S. As for looks as they say Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. To me I can see a clear lineage from GT86/BRZ in profile. Its almost like they took an 86, elongated and flattened out the hood fenders and then add a few more scallops and scoops. I personally like the Styling of the 718 better. However if the Supra performs and handles on parity with a 718 than I can overlook styling and save 10 grand with a much nicer sounding engine.

That's $15K more than a Mustang GT that will b!tch slap the holy hell out of this mongrel in every performance parameter. The Camaro SS 1LE costs less than a Supra and will be worlds superior.
