#NAIAS: LEAKED! All-new Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 SEEN For The FIRST Time BEFORE Its Reveal
It's the night before Christmas, Spies. Well, not quite. But, it's something like that as the 2019 Detroit Auto Show (NAIAS) kicks off tomorrow.

It's going to be short and sweet, folks.

One vehicle we're looking forward to seeing launch is coming from Ford. Some brochure snaps made their way onto the 'net tonight and it shows the all-new Ford Mustang Shelby GT500. I cannot confirm nor deny if these are real.

What I can say though is you can read some very interesting information off these snaps.

As you can see it clearly notes it will make use of the following:
  • A 5.2-liter, supercharged V8
  • 7-speed dual-clutch transmission
  • Brembo big brake kit — six pistons up front, four pistons in rear
  • MagneRide dampers
  • Carbon fiber wheels
  • A lot of aerodynamic tricks/add ons for increased downforce
See for yourself, below, Spies!

The buyer interest in this is off the charts.

A face only Mom could love. I heard the GT350R is the car to get if you can put up with the ride.

I think the GT350R would be the one to get.

Kind of like the C6 Z06 Corvette. Skip the standard Corvette and skip the ZR1.

Having considered the GT350R but bought a GT350 instead, the R would be hard to live with. The Z06 is absolutely wonderful to live with.

I love these cars. Just hate how the ford dealers will always mark it up...

Depends on the dealer. Shop around. We're unlikely to have any for sale to a random, walk-in customer given deposits in hand and likely low production numbers.

This seems pretty legit. I wish they had done turbos (w electric turbo boost at low speeds) in a hot V design instead of a supercharger. Would have been even more interesting in my opinion. Look forward to seeing it nonetheless. One thing I do wish they would do is have maybe 3 versions of these cars with the normal 500 a 500R and 500S. Make the 500S a very discrete version without a lot of the flash, spoilers, splitters etc... I know those enhance the cars performance (at a bloody racetrack) but most people will not use that and I think it would be nice to have a really toned down model. Shelby's have never been toned down though so....
