#NAIAS: BEST REAL-LIFE Shots Of The 2020 Ford Mustang SHELBY GT500 — Is TWISTER Orange Turning Your Head?
Although we've been well aware of the all-new Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 since last Thursday, we've had to keep our mouths shut. That's just how embargoes work, folks.
Having said that, we dropped the press release this morning and now we can share with you the real goods: Real-life photos shot on-site here in Detroit.

HERE!
For the occasion, Ford Motor Company brought out an original GT500 to sit side-by-side with the 2020 GT500. It's pretty wild to see both of them together in the same space.
Painted Twister Orange metallic, you really can get an idea of just how wild the all-new GT500 can be if you so desire.
Check out some of the details highlighted in Agent 001's photos, below.

Love the shot of the Tim's donut pack! But also a bit sad to see just how much style and presence cars have lost since the 60's. I'd take a GT500 original in a heartbeat.

Agree, the original has soul.

The original Shelby's are classic and always will be, the new one while "now" will be yesterday's news in three years.

So when the gt350r came to dealers the price with average premiums were almost 100k. Should be except 120k+ for this??

I am thinking the base price will be around $85k. Pure speculation though.
With options + potential mark ups, yeah, $120k is possible.

$85K is believable and again...shop around on dealers, BUT if your deposit isn't already in on this one, you'll either not get one for a while or you'll pay $50K over because you just gotta have it. We have deposits for vehicles as they come (i.e. you take what comes in) with an agreed to % above list. If you don't want the car, we will refund the deposit and move to the next customer. If you want to renegotiate the price, we will refund the deposit and move to the next customer.

That console looks so lonely without a shifter sprouting up from it....
