Case in point: Just check out these photos of the Nissan IMs concept that the Japanese manufacturer brought to the 2019 Detroit Auto Show (NAIAS).

We made sure to spend quite a bit of time around the coach door concept that featured a lot of interesting and futuristic touches in its cabin.

Looks like the Escala from the front. Otherwise, it looks like the brief was to design a car using only straight lines. The exception of course being the Tesla round tire idea the copied.
