Genesis G70 Performance Variant Put On Hold - BMW M3 Safe For Now

Performance variants are one of the more popular things enthusiasts shout for. “Yes,” we say, “the base car is very good, but what about a heated-up one? What about one for the tracking?” Unfortunately, we probably can let go of the idea of a performance Genesis G70. At least for now.

Just a few days ago, we heard that there could be a G70 performance model, a topic that came up while Road & Track was talking about the Hyundai Veloster N. But Manfred Fitzgerald, the president of Genesis, denied the rumors in a Car and Driver story from yesterday.
