Who'd You RATHER? Now That Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawks Are Being Discounted — JEEP or RAPTOR?
If you're resourceful and don't mind doing a bit of digging, you'll be amazed by what you can find. Agent 001 is one of those types.

He has a nose for the deal.

And according to him, the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawks are starting to get discounted by dealers looking to move units. Originally when they hit showrooms you couldn't touch one for less than $20,000 over sticker. Now though the love affair is over.

Given the swing of the pendulum, this has given us a peculiar thought. As it relates to high-performance trucks, WHICH would YOU rather?

A Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk? Or, the Ford F-150 Raptor?

So, what's it going to be, Spies?

I don't think people are cross-shopping these.

Raptors rule on and off the street. They perform well and get attention from old and young alike, no matter the gender. It is one mean truck that shouts "I'm here, I can tackle anything you throw at me, I rock whether on Rodeo drive or Death Valley. It is what it appears to be, no explanation needed. A Trackhawk, as good as it may be, sends mixed messages...am I a truck, an SUV or a crossover; am I a shiny near luxury utility vehicle pretending to like getting dirty in the bush; I can handle off road but look my best when washed and waxed; I've got a big price but hard to spot why unless you drive me; etc etc

Given how outdated the Grand Cherokee is and that it does not look special...

No question that the Raptor is the better choice.

Like many FCA products, the Jeep Trackhawk relies on gimmicks to create excitement and it seems no one is fooled at this point.

In contrast, the Raptor is an excellent vehicle with real capabilities.

Can you put a proper title for these articles? "Who'd You RATHER". what does that even mean? Rather buy, lease, have, sell, hate, burn, etc. I am not sure what you are asking.

These titles seem like the staff is literally sitting at a bar - drink in hand - asking a wild-azz random question for general discussion. Maybe this is intentional - what crazy title can they stumble upon next? lol

Two high performance vehicles targeting very different buyers. My friend has the Trackhawk and his brother has the Raptor. Both said that neither even considered the other car. That seems to be the common types of buying choices when it comes to these two.

Raptor for the win for me... It should be plenty quick and way more capable.
