4Runner sales keep increasing. I just rented one and they are awful. They drive terrible and they are outdated in every level. Crazy

I had a 1999 Pathfinder then went with a 2004 4Runner. The 4Runner was a mistake. In almost every way except engines, the Pathfinder was the (far) better SUV. I was beyond disappointed with the Toyota. Fast forward to today and I would imagine the same holds true, however in fairness, the 4Runner is still trying to be a truck and not a crossover.

Yep. Crazy how they keep growing. Fine for me and the dog and the lads when we go out for a pub crawl, but a Highlander is so much smoother and has much nicer materials on the inside. I can't see any wife giving her vote for the 4Runner as the family hauler.
