WHO Did It BETTER? WHICH Super Bowl Ad Does It For You? The Mercedes A-Class OR Audi e-tron?
We're days away from the Big Game's kick off but that hasn't stopped the automakers. That's because, like usual, they're dropping their advertisements early.

I don't get why since it blunts the impact on Sunday, but so be it.

The two latest Super Bowl ads to get revealed come from the likes of Audi and Mercedes-Benz. Audi is promoting its e-tron lineup of vehicles and how the marque is shifting one-third of its autos to electric vehicles by 2025. Clearly, they're trying to send a message.

The folks at Mercedes are taking a more pragmatic approach. That's because the three-pointed star is trying to show off the Interior Assistant function within the all-new A-Class.

Having said that, we want to know: WHICH Super Bowl ad did it BETTER?

What if you had the power to change the course of events? To have all of the world’s information at your beck and call? To master the very idea of personal time and space? Imagine it – your world completely under your control. Mercedes-Benz already has. They call it the 2019 A-Class. A Mercedes-Benz that listens to you, anticipates your needs and can fulfill your requests with natural voice recognition. For a glimpse of what’s possible, just “say the word” and click here:

We are unleashing a new era of electric, and it’s more thrilling than anything you can imagine (in this life or the next.)

Both were dumb because they didn't feature the product until the end, but the MB ad was much funnier. I don't know that a "barn find" is how I would want to view my new Etron.

Nah. The fools watch those who throw and catch "da bah" taking a knee as the coddled, entitled "bah" players they are. No worries.

Benz by 100 yards. It wrapped up nicely to the end tying in the ad with the product.

Audi’s ad makes zero sense. The guy isn’t in a state of euphoria or a fantasy state. He’s on the brink of dying. So when you’re on the brink of your demise at the gates of heaven where your deceased grandfather is greeting you, is when you dream about the e-tron?? Makes absolutely no sense. Not to mention that EV cars aren’t just a dream today or only a heavenly-achievable goal. They are real today. Not to mention, Audi’s ad pretty much tells me that they are still a far ways to go until this e-tron becomes a reality.

Audi much better.

MB ad is stupid - who at Mercedes thought it was a good idea to license the Wiley Coyote/Roadrunner footage from Warner Brothers? Does MB need cartoons to sell the crap A-Class?

Is it me, or should we be more excited about the Audi E-tron GT versus its platform mate the Porsche Taycan?

Now if only Lexus could put that same energy in their design! LOL

Haha. That is a good Lexus ad. At least they went cheap with Leinart instead of an active QB or.a QB who actually accomplished something.
