Annual Consumer Survey Rates Model 3 As The Most Joyful Car To Own - Who Should Be Worried?
Just the other day we shared some good news from Consumer Reports (CR). The publication noted that its readers chose the premium all-electric Tesla Model 3 as its top-rated luxury compact car. Over the years, CR has been hot and cold when it comes to Tesla. Early on, it didn’t recommend the Model 3. Fortunately, that changed. However, not long after that, the organization shared that there were still issues. Fast forward to today and CR has released the results of its annual owner satisfaction survey. As it turns out, the Model 3 not only makes the top ten list, but leads it.

It's Chinese New Year today so I expect a lot of firecrackers on this topic. My 3 cars occupy the top 2 spots - no complaint from me as the order 1-2 is correct.

Can anyone name another car in the past 100+ years that its owners characterized as "joyful"....me neither.

Tesla should worry. Competitors will soon come up with something similar, and Tesla cannot compete in prestige, heritage, luxury, quality, or durability

People who pay 2 to 3 times the value of the car will tend to overcompensate in surveys. People who buy Teslas seem to have similiar thought patterns to those who join a cult. "Elon is the smartest man in the history of the world." "This is the best car ever despite the high price, poor quality, time to recharge...'

Why not add "Ponzi scheme" to your statement ? In fact, my Model 3 Performance was paid for by a cult called "$TSLA Shorts". Many fellow Tesla buyers are involved in the same "scheme" to extort money from those poor shorts such as Eihorn, Chanos, ... It's an outrage people are allowed to do that - investing in a company and enjoying its products at the same time (some examples come to mind: Tesla, Apple, Amazon, Google, ...).

EVisNow, you are right about one thing, Tesla is a Ponzi scheme. He is constantly promising continued high growth to pay for current investments and shortcomings. Now that growth has slowed and the prospect for growth dimming (see January sales numbers and very small orders from Europe and China) the Ponzi pyramid is starting to crumble.

I don't understand how you can just dismiss news that you don't disagree with. The president is such a role model.

skytop, what does politics have to do with this? You need to take your anger on over to a Fox site.

Bob Lutz was responsible for the Volt while he was Vice Chairman at GM. He is a conservative republican and former Marine pilot. The Volt was the best way to handle range anxiety.
