Don't Mess With Perfection - Audi Moves TT RS In To 2019 Virtually Unchanged
The TT RS has been punching above its weight class since it was introduced at the 2009 Geneva Auto Show. The current second-generation car, underpinned by Volkswagen’s MQB chassis, is a proper sports car that provides acceleration on par with many supercars.

Thanks to Quattro all-wheel drive and a 400-horsepower turbocharged inline-five the TT RS sprints from 0-60 in a killer quick 3.6 seconds. The 2019 model keeps all of what makes the TT RS awesome and adds a dash of just-different-enough to keep things spicy.

If perfection means slow sales and not worth more investment dollars then yes.

The current design is merely a re-hash of version #2. The original design was the best of the 3 version in terms of design. Audi should have taken the 2010 Quattro Sport design concept and grafted it on to a TT chassis even if it meant extending the wheelbase. That car would have been a hot seller. I predict the TT in current form will be either discontinued or Audi will make a crossover version to replace this.

I've always really liked the TT.

It sells in the dozens, so of course no change is needed. The TT is a great $30K car, too bad it's $30K overpriced.
