Lexus To Offer UX Crossover With A Full Service Lease Option

Lexus is going to offer the sub-compact UX with a new full-service lease program that will include insurance, maintenance and connected services under a single monthly payment.

The new Lexus Complete Lease will be initially offered on a 20,000-mile (32,000 km), two-year basis to customers by nearly 80 participating dealers in seven states -California, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island.

Lexus opted to offer a full-service lease deal instead of a subscription plan, as the company thinks that the subscription model doesn’t currently make financial sense for them to “jump in”.

Including insurance would never be good for me, because I can almost guarantee my current insurer is going to be far lower cost. Plus, if they don't insure all of my vehicles I lose automatic coverage for 30 days if I buy another vehicle.

If you could opt out of their coverage, with an appropriate lowering of the cost, then the rest might make sense.

How do you sell a Lexus Corolla or new version of the CT200 (which didn’t sell very well before) for $30-40k+? By leasing them out for even more money! While insurance might benefit some, maintenance on all new Toyotas are included anyways...

Why doesn't Lexless just continue their hideous rima oris grill from the front of the car to the base of the windshield. Why are not doing the grill half azz?

This is brilliant marketing. The snowflakes that are afraid to negotiate will swallow a lease on a Lexus Corolla. They will also swallow the insurance angle because they are too lazy to shop around. But snowflakes will swallow anything.

Completely agree, this is turn key and buyers are in 1 vehicle vs OEM/Dealers having to have a potential fleet of vehicles at the ready. This makes way more sense than the $1500(?) any car any time any month set up...
