CONFIRMED! Kia Unveils PRICING For The 2020 Telluride — Is THIS Going To Be A Homerun Or WHAT?
It seems like the vehicle of the week is the all-new, 2020 Kia Telluride. Between the controversial Super Bowl spot and the release of its pricing information, we've all got Telluride on the brain.

But there's good reason for that: To us, it's a compelling three-row sport-utility vehicle.

We just have to wonder now that the pricing information has been unveiled if it will still capture buyer's attention.

According to information we've just received, the 2020 Telluride will start at a rather reasonable $31,690*. And, if you get it fully kitted out, you're talking about a $45,490* investment.

*This price does not include taxes, title or fees.

Given just how much is thrown in at that top-tier price, I would pay that all day for a three-row, full-size SUV. And that's not accounting for incentives and deals that can be had once this vehicle hits showrooms. Imagine driving away with a fully loaded Telluride for $40,000 + tax?

Having said all of that, I've got to ask: Do YOU think the Telluride is going to be a HOMERUN at this price point OR is it priced too high for a Kia?

Honestly at these prices, this thing should move tons. I sure hope AWD is a stand alone option below the top trim level though.

If the typical consumer dropped their silly-azz biases, this would have a much larger potential consumer-base.

That is excellent pricing. Given Kia's top-notch reliability, this is a great choice for families. With Ford killing the steady-selling Flex, this will be a good alternative.

VW should do itself a favor and just discontinue the Atlas this month.

Full loaded at around $50K there is no way this will not sell. GM is selling the Tahoe at around $15-20K more for similar, yet IMO, inferior interiors and quality. Buyers who shop and spend their own money, will leave Chevy for this vehicle, especially if they introduce a longer version. GM needs to start offering more value vs driving up their transaction prices and chinzing their way to profits, that strategy won't work long term... The Koreans want to WIN and they know how...

@Jazzyjizz On what planet do you think it won't?

These are prices for FWD models. Pricing for AWD model will probably be right in line with Toyota/Honda. The Telluride looks nicer inside and out to me, but it remains to be seen if they can unseat Toyota/Honda based on reputation. They also have an uphill battle against Ford which continues to lead sales despite the aged explorer...the 2020 explorer will have the best powertrains, likely best interior space due to wheelbase, and likely the best refinement due to the longitudinal/RWD drivetrain setup.

Trying to beat the socially-created Toyota/Honda reputation is damn-near impossible. Not even worth the effort....well it's worth a little effort to show how comparable models match-up.

The general consumer base either just don't like the Kia styling or are socially tied to Honda/Toyota where they'd be embarrassed to own a Hyundai/Kia today.

Kia/Hyundai has been near the top of quality surveys recently. The styling and aggressive should help sell lots of these. Who will be taking the hit? Probably VW, Honda, Nissan and GM in that order.

We predict it will be one of the breakout hits of 2020 model year...The pricing is why. Can't wait to drive it.

On first glance in person, it looks way more premium than the Palisade.

Since when did a KIA become an investment?
