Weird, Wonderful Or BOTH? If You Just Can't WAIT For That Galdiator Would You Do THIS Instead?

One thing I have learned is to never underestimate human ingenuity.  If a need exists, someone will find a way to meet it. 

The media has been buzzing about the Jeep Galdiator for quite sometime but it seem this enterprising soul couldn't wait and made his own version using a Toyota 4 Runner.  Now remember this is deep in the heart of Texas so no telling what his intent was, but you have to hand it to him for living the dream and making it work..

4Runners already have very little weight on the rear axle and love to spin the tires in the wet if you gas it just a bit too much. I could not imagine what this would be like with a minimum of weight over the rear end. Nice welding work. Cool that he kept the tailgate and made it the rear of the passenger compartment too.

@MD Cha-Ching. That Land Cruiser 70 with a 4.5 V8 Diesel could find a market in North America for sure. Or even with a different motor. It is a much purer version of the Land Cruiser than the current 6,000lb SUV. It is for sale in Asia and Australia. Like the G-Wagon Professional for sale in the EU, there is a market for pure hardcore old school SUV's.
