Wow! That Was Fast: Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 Bison Already Sold Out For 2019

The Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 Bison is one of the most hardcore entries in the midsize truck market, but finding a new one to put in your garage might be a challenge. American Expedition Vehicles (AEV) partnered with Chevy to supply some of the Bison's upgrades, but the companies underestimated demand, leading to all 2,000 units already having allocations to dealers, according to GM Authority.

Fantastic result. In the same spirit at the TRD Tacoma and 4Runner, there is a market for adventure oriented versions of these vehicles. Niche within a niche so to speak.

With the sell out of the CT6-V and this Bison, one might think, wow these cars sold out... was it the miniscule number produced or was it the special-ness of the product... perhaps we should make alot more?

Nope thats not current GM management... they're short term thinkers, if they're thinking at all..

This "sell-out"--like the CT6V--does not mean that people showed up and bought one. It means ONLY that units were allocated to dealers. Manufacturer "sales" are not "sold" vehicles.
