The CT6 sells well in China. Cadillac needs a top of range sedan. China sales were the reason for keeping Buick.

The CT6 (nee Fleetwood) deserves to have continued development. The car needs a V8 and a more refined interior. The platform is terrific and the technology involved is revolutionary. Make the interior world class, PANARAY std, for goodness why not "dare greatly" vs timidly.

That said the XTS is the biggest seller of all the "to be discontinued" sedans so why is that one not being continued? I agree the Impala should continue but as nice as the LaCrosse is its never been marketed very well. Replace the Impala in Chevy's line up with a restyled LaCrosse and give Chevy that nicer car. If you're going to kill the Buick anyhow why not simply enhance the Chevy line up with the nicer car. There will be no intra-divisional competition but it would make the Impala a better competitor to the Avalon and others.

You seriously want vicious torque steer don't you. That would be too much power and torque for the Rentabu the horrible Impala is under it all.
