If The 2021 Jeep Wagoneer Looks like THIS, Will Fans Of The Original Be Happy And Want One?
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles N.V.’s announcement on Monday of a $4.5 billion investment in manufacturing capacity in and around Detroit also signals the likely return of Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer, classic nameplates in the history of sport utility vehicle.
After nine years of delays, teases and false starts, FCA says it will introduce Wagoneer in 2021 – a vehicle that will compete against models like the Chevrolet Tahoe, Lincoln Navigator, Range Rover and other big SUVs.

it may be cool for China, but the full-size Jeep for the US needs to be "meatier" in overall execution. the proportions are wrong for the brand. maybe they should've started by mimicking the proportions from the 91-92 Grand Wagoneer & then use today's evolved brand design for the new model.
what kind of drunken focus group sessions are they hosting at FCA today?!

but other rumors say the concept above is actually a large-midsize Jeep Commander concept for the US. Which would probably be OK for getting a newer larger Jeep on the streets. It could fit well with other larger CUV's from Chevy/GMC, Ford, etc.
Demand for this would definitely get FCA to push forward on the full-size Grand Wagoneer. Then they can possibly do a sub-Gnd Cherokee-sized Wagoneer.
Either way, building all of these SUV's can easily be justified by building both Dodge & Chrysler versions. Gawd-knows Chrysler needs product for its 2-vehicle lineup!

the rear 3/4 & full rear angles shows why this (concept) would fail in the US.

Jeep fans love to spend STUPID money on their Jeeps. They will like anything that says Jeep on it. Kind of like Hardly Davidson fans.

It looks like a larger Jeep Compass. Needs to have more sophisticated styling.

That would make a great Jeep Cherokee replacement.
