2009 BMW Four-Door Coupe a CLS Fighter?
Soon, the Mercedes CLS won't be the only so-called four-door coupe on the market. Porsche is working on the Panamera, and Volkswagen and Audi are developing sleek four-door models which will carry the "coupe" designation.

Now, our sources inGermany are telling us that BMW will also be introducing a four-door "coupe," often referred to as a CLS-fighter, for the 2009 model year.

This looks better than the CLS but the Aston Martin Rapide is still the best 4 door coupe out there.

Your an idiot if you think this looks better than the CLS..

On another note, your an idiot if you think BMW will ever have better exterior models than Mercedes..And dont go on with that "exterior design is sunjective" bullshit..BMW makes ugly cars..This one adds to the list

pretty good looking.. better a bemmer than a merc.
Merc make cars for older people, at least i think they looks like an old mans car.

It looks good up to the rear. Then it just looks dodgy.

This thing looks way too much like the CLS. It's one thing to bring competition, it's another to imitate it exactly. A little originality please, as small as it may be.

The front looks awesome but the back looks like a CLS, it doesn't go with the front design.

It's an illustration, not a spy shot. Not even remotely official. Nothing to see here but speculation.

the photoshop job is decent, but the car looks horrendous.

What a useless concept "4 door coupe". Isn't that an oxymoron, like "jumbo shrimp"?

Isn't the sedan swoopy enough? Or do we need to split segment hairs now? All of the "new segments" that people keep dreaming up come with a high possibility of failure. That just raises the bottom line on a company's models across the board.

I think it's nicer looking than both the 5 and 7 Series, but there's already a 6 Series, so would it be called... the 8 Series? That wouldn't make sense either, because it will be less expensive than the 7 Series... I think IS3andME had it right: 5 and a half series is a go!

That BMW is hideous, I am afraid to say. No elegance unlike the CLS or Rapide.

I like BMW, but their latest designs have been outright terrible with the exception of the new X5 and 3er.

Sorry BMW guys. BMW is still a great brand, but their designs keep me from ever considering one.

The first picture from that angle it look like the new Lexus GS to me. I would rather choose the up and coming GS460 than this. It still a very good looking concept.
