Cadillac, Buick and GMC.... this Genesis WILL have a solid powertrain, it WILL have attractive styling, I predict the interior WILL surpass anything GM produces anywhere, it will have all the drivers assistances, probably standard AND it’ll be a very strong value. I never thought I’d say it but I could be buying a Korean vehicle soon?

Only the pompous will poo poo it...

BINGO! This is quite likely better than the Enclave and XT6.

Can't wait to see how many other automakers they rip off to make their vehicle. My guess is 4.

But you're OK with Tesla doing that, right?

Buick and Cadillac will be its main bogies. The Germans and Lexus won't be worried.

Considering how ugly the current portfolio of Lexus Suvs they should be worried about everybody

It was interesting to see the high marks Consumer Reports gave Genesis. I would like to see them make it.

Actually - I cannot see why it would be worse for Japanese or German owners of junk- I would suggest they BOTH should worry IF they actually bought it.

Resale isn't exactly stellar on German brands...

It likely will not have a significant impact on the Germans initially, but the field is getting crowded and the second tier will be diluted. Genesis has shown an ability for excellent execution. The XT6 will be up against this and the new Lincoln. Tough.
I am increasingly convinced Cadillac is aiming its efforts [sic] at the Chinese market first.
They are keeping the CT6 there and are growing there, not here.

BMW, Mercedes, and Audi have grenaded (sic) their resale values with the flood of cheap leases why buy and take a depreciation when I can lease and have the car company shoulder much of it?

If I was ever in the market for a German vehicle, I would buy late model CPO. I am surprised how much they depreciate

20% off sticker on a one-year old German with the extra year of warranty makes for a good deal.

They should had never named that brand "Genesis " they should had named it a totally new name.

Dumbass it was a new name we they formulated the plan.

Genesis was to be a stand-alone brand from day one.

Then Hyundai got cold feet.

So we just going to play dumb as if Gyundainis the only brand with not the best resale value. So because Mitsubishi isnt Korean that resale value makes it ok.
