Black Boxes, Breathalyzers, And Speed Limiters To Be Common in Deep State EU
People in charge of automotive safety in the European Union have tentatively agreed on a litany of new car technology, including black box-style data recorders, that will be required standard equipment by 2022. Buckle up, it’s a pretty long list.

Before anybody gets too excited about anything here, the proposed agreement we’re talking about is “provisional” and the BBC reports that “it could be several months before the European Parliament and Council formally approve the measures” and “The European Parliament will not be able to consider the provisional rules until after its elections take place in May.”

DeeState is a made up word by Breitbart. There is no such thing. He had to follow rules and procedures. Same in any large organization. If you don't like it, move to some tin pot country in Latin America where there are no rules.
The closest thing to a deep state is Russia or China where any dissention gets you disappeared.

Yep. It will be as common in the EU one day as universal healthcare, clean water, clean air, clean energy, politics controlled by the people, no GMO's and good wine! Beef all you like about the EU, they are far ahead of the curve on many different fronts.

Low growth, high unemployment, expensive energy and everything really, high taxes, and a structured society controlled by the elite where it's difficult to move up in stature or pay. Did you ever notice there are not a lot of risk taking startup companies like Silicon Valley or Boston's biotech in Europe? Our free risk/reward society lets that happen.

True, a lot of good practices. All the same, I would rather live here than anywhere else.
I have worked with ex-pats from all over the world and they all comment on how easy it is to live here. Home ownership, car ownership, food, etc. These are the simple freedoms we sometimes take for granted.

True, but until you get cancelled by your insurance company because your son or daughter got a ticket and they were using your car...But hey, what do I know...Laws tend to have unanticipated results. Remember they said the same thing about credit scores and insurance...and you see haw that turned out. Insurance companies will use any data they can get to increase your premiums.

Super car makers and all those 600 H.P+ supercharged car makers will just love having the Socialist government making their high performance cars effectively useless and making most of their business extinct.

The liberal socialist take all fun and enjoyment out of life so others will be as unhappy and miserable as liberals are.

Right, you should be able to do whatever you like, just like Mexico. That certainly works out well there.

That's an ignorant statement. The Big Brother, nannyism encroachment on civil rights under the guise of catching a few baddies is patently immoral.
