Could Lexus Sew Up The Soccer Mom Market With A Mini Van?

Lexus released a teaser image of what is believed to be their upcoming people-carrier earlier this week, showing off its signature spindle grille and some aggressively-styled LED daytime running lights.

That vehicle is thought to be the LM 350 and LM 300h minivan, which could go on sale exclusively in China and Southeast Asia. The previously-mentioned monikers were actually trademarked by the automaker last year.

And don’t forget that Lexus Manila president, Raymond Rodriguez, has said that “It’s only a matter of time” before Lexus launches a luxurious variant of the Toyota Alphard minivan.

I can't believe people get paid to design this crap. Pontiac Aztec is beautiful compared to this....and Pontiac is out of business...are you listening Lexus

I'm sure it's screwed together well but it makes my eyes hurt - unfortunately like most Lexus cars. That grille is hideous.

This model would not do well in the USA...it is significantly smaller than the other minivans on the market. I don't know if a Lexus minivan would do too well...loaded up Odysseys and Siennas are already very nice for a kid hauler.

Toyota's designs that sell only in Japan and Asia tend to look odd to us. Spend some time in Tokyo and you will see some strange stuff tooling around. One hopes, for their sake, that this will get a new front clip, at least, if they bring it over here.

Really don't care what a mini-van look like, just like I don't care about the look of a 250lb gal

It may be bad photoshop, BUT this is precisely the kind of vehicle that Lexus needs in certain markets.

a late April Fools afterthought?

this wld be like M-B bringing back the R-class. as DCX they convinced everyone that the Chrysler Pacifica sport tourer was a silly joke.

a Venza-based Lexus is an easier sell than any Lexus minivan.
