Stunning photo gallery of the Audi R8, V10 variant to be "R10"

Automobile Magazine has just posted a stunning new photo gallery of the Audi R8.

This R8 is in dark grey and looks better than ever.

Be sure to check out the second page of photos as well which show the R8 from the front angle.

Also of note, word on the street is Audi is planning to release an R8 with V10 engine known as the "R10" approximately 8-10 months after the R8 has hit full production.

Keep a look out for any more information on the "R10," as this will be the car to give the Ferrari F430, Porsche 911 Turbo, Chevrolet Corvete Z06 and Lamborghini Gallardo a sure scare in terms of performance.

your in love with the R8 theman?

Just wait until the R10 comes out.

Since the performance figures of the R10 will be in the range of the Ferrari F430, Lamborghini Gallardo, Corvette Z06 and Ford GT in everything from straight-line acceleration to Nurburgring lap time and slalom times....

You will DROOL over that car.

By the way, the R10 should be released once the R8 hits full production approximately 8-10 months after its initial orders are received in the U.S.

That nose is the one unattractive part of the car: The new Audi "pig snout" style grill. Otherwise, looks hot. Especially from behind.

It's not going to be called the R10, believe me, guys.

Just simply "R8 V10".

Audi does not change its nomenclature in lieu of a new engine.

Look at A6 3.2/4.2, A3 2.0T/3.2, etc...

But it is unbelievably beautiful... I can't believe it... the best-looking car they've ever designed...ever... easily... I think I'm in love with it too...

I just got my Automobile today, in fact!

I read the article, on the R8.

It's still exclusive to CAR, because the guy didn't actually drive it.

But it truly was an everyday supercar. He said it had amazing capabilities but stayed calm, composed and smooth, even at 180+mph. Those were just his passeneger impressions, though. I'm excited to hear about it being driven. I may have to cough up a few extra dollars to get this thing...
