Select Customers Have Recieved Delivery Of The Mythical $35,000 Model 3
Tesla has started deliveries of the long-promised Model 3 for $35,000 to a happy few customers, but the delivery of the promised vehicle is expected to be short lived.

After Tesla announced that it is moving away from the promised base version of Model 3 at $35,000 last week, the automaker confirmed that it would start deliveries this weekend with a software-locked version of the Model 3 Standard Range Plus.

Now several buyers have reached out to Electrek to confirm that they have taken delivery of the ‘Model 3 Standard Range’.

They'll build some to pretend it's a thing. Google Dale / Twentieth Century Motor Car Corporation. It's Tesla 100% i.e. a con artist as the CEO and a car that will never be produced.

Let me get this straight. A few years back I put a down payment on $35,000 Model 3 you promised but now you are only going to deliver one to "a select few" but not me and you want me to buy a more expensive version. Elon, fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me. I'll pass and take my refund back, thank you.

No dude, everyone that ordered a $35k Model 3 will get it... AND it will be a better car than what was promised. You get the upgraded interior and can charge the battery at 100% every day with no negative battery impact.

You can order the $35k car right now actually just by calling them up.

No, most likely these $35K models are targeted for their special lease program, and when they come off lease they will be converted for autonomous car service. This program allows them to recoup the lost profits from the lower priced models.

it is absolutely not true that everyone that wanted a $35 K got one or will get one. Tesla has been pressuring those who put deposits down to upgrade to a more expensive version or they would have to wait. Those who request refunds waited months to get them. A number of the refund checks bounced.
Now the only way you can get one is to get it from the dealers they are eliminating. I went to a dealer who informed me that they are not selling the $35 K model. Con, con, con all they way.

Except, the items I post are true (minus the occasional mistake, which I am more than willing to own up to).

You do not need a store to get the $35k Model 3, you can call the number and get it right now. It is the best value of any of the cars right now, and probably has little to no margin.

There is a typo in the headline - it should read "Select Tesla Employees Have Recieved Delivery Of The Mythical $35,000 Model 3"

I suspect that none of the transactons with the $35,000 Model 3 were "arms' length" but I'm sure some Wall Street stock analyst could ask that on the earnings conference call.

Everyone that ordered one and wants one, will get one (unless they fully kill off the option). As of today you can still get it. You can also order a new car in colors not available on the site, just have to call in the order for the secret menu.
